View Full Version : Whit the First Pick in the 2006 NFL Draft, The Green Bay Packers select....

Matt Leinhart

Its like the draft is rigged. How many years did we need a running back and non were available where we drafted.

That's really going to tick off Aaron Rodgers.

11-29-2005, 01:41 PM
isnt this greens contract year? they will take bush, release green. DUH!

11-29-2005, 01:43 PM
Yeah, they spent too much on Rodgers.

All the bad teams have QB's (HOU, SF, GB).

Bush will be the first pick, unless the Jets get it.

11-29-2005, 01:44 PM
No way, they draft a QB with their 1st round pick.

11-29-2005, 01:44 PM
The second teir of teams all need QB's. There will be some trading goin on, maybe we could sneak up there (but doubt it):

1 win - HOU
2 wins - NYJ, GB, SF
3 wins - BAL, TEN, NO

I bet Baltimore trades up for Leinart.

11-29-2005, 01:55 PM
I forgot they got Rogers, hmmm

11-29-2005, 01:59 PM
I don't think they would stay at number one.

11-29-2005, 02:22 PM
Aaron Rodgers will go nowhere, they should draft Matt Leinart

11-29-2005, 02:27 PM
sneak up lol if we continue to win there will be no way to sneak up.

11-29-2005, 03:49 PM
They wouldn't pass on Bush. If they fall to like #2 and Bush is gone they very well could trade down.

11-29-2005, 04:37 PM
Bush is going to be a bust. I call it right now.

11-29-2005, 04:38 PM
He's got too much talent to completely bust. At the very worst he'll be Brian Westbrook.

11-29-2005, 04:44 PM
What will Bush play - WR or RB?

11-29-2005, 04:54 PM
I bet Baltimore trades up for Leinart.

How hilarious would that be!! Trading up for a 1st round franchise QB to replace the bust 1st round franchise QB they traded up for. ROFL

Bush is going to be a bust. I call it right now.

Leinert will be a bust, and I can't even claim to call that one. Too many are saying the same to take credit for that.

Houston will have #1, and as much as I like DD, the guy can't stay healthy, and there aren't any franchise Offensive Tackles available.

11-29-2005, 05:59 PM
with Carson Palmer and Troy Polumanu being USC grads under Carroll...
I'd say the chances of Reggie Bush and Matt Leinart being busts are slim to none. Leinart is the best QB prospect to come out of college in awhile..while Bush has been rated higher than Marshall Faulk coming out of college.

11-29-2005, 06:12 PM
Leinart isn't a better prospect than Eli was IMO.

11-29-2005, 06:17 PM
Aaron Rodgers will go nowhere, they should draft Matt Leinart

And that is base on what??? I guess the same logic that said LJ was going to be a bust in the NFL because he did not play his first season.

Aaron Rodgers was highly rated coming in and slipped to the bottom of the first round. To say he is going nowhere has no merit in my opinion.

I still like the Texas QB better than Leinhart...
