Adbock doesn't seem to be working too well and won't accept any new blocks. Hopefully that will be updated quickly.

Just downloaded it and installed it. Works great and it is a hell of alot faster and safer than IE...right Parker? :p

ok, dumb question: is it better to unistall the current Firefox before installing 1.5, or does it install "over it" smoothly?

is the difference in the glitch factor?

I had no problem installing it over the old version. It even kept most of my extensions.

anyone know where they move the "allow websites to install software" option went to?

don't see the check/uncheck option anywhere now

For all of you saying that some of the extensions don't work, it's true, but there have been fixes.

For instance, Super Drag and Go, Adblock, and Download Manager Tweak didn't work for me but if you do a google search with the extension name and 1.5 then you will eventually find the working link.

For example, use this as a google search "Adblock 1.5" and you'll find it.

I got all of them to work w/ 1.5

Sorry about losing your extensions. I lost a few as well but I am sure they will updated ASAP.

Go to the Options part, then Content and there is a box to check/uncheck to warn when websites try to install extensions or themes.

Is that what you are looking for?

Not sure where it went, but if you go to a site and try to install, it will pop up an alert box at the top of the browser asking you if you want to add it to the list of accepted sites so don't worry
