Congrats on a great season so far, Joe. Alexander should get MVP if he keeps it up.

Remember in the 80s, maybe early 90s, when crowd noise was a big deal and QBs would ask refs to quiet the crowd?

That doesn't happen anymore. When did it change? Why? Did the league change a rule, or did it tell QBs to just deal with it?

If i'm not mistaken, the Kingdome was a big reason for that rule..

Seattle fans are capable of really making some noise.. :thumb:

Yes, I'm almost certain you're right. Didn't it have a "12th man" (i.e., crowd) jersey hanging from the rafters?

Yep, the number 12 jersey has been retired in honor of the 12th man.. Before each home game a former Seahawk or other celebrity raises the 12th man flag above the south end zone..

It's been a long time since fanbase has been this big. This year is all sold out, and apparently yuou need to get on a list to try to get season tickets for next year.. :thumb:

Damnit, you beat me to it.

He's the only one I ever saw invoke said rule.

God, that guy is just awful. He was whining about EVERYTHING - not just the noise.

Listening to these guys makes you realize how fortunate we are to have Mitch Holthus calling the plays for us. I think I'd shoot myself if I had to listen to these guys each week.
