Not true.

I have no idea who Rob Thomas from Matchbox Twenty is, or what Matchbox Twenty is, for that matter.

Matchbox kicked so much arse over Hot Wheels. At least until HW developed better wheels.

ditto

My younger brother used to get matchbox cars when he was little. That's the only matchbox I've ever heard of.

....besides the boxes that matches come in....

I had a moron girlfriend in high school. I actually convinced her that his name was pronounced completely phonetically. So she actually pronounced it with 2 Bs, and a th sound to start his last name. I told her he was alaskan or something.

Couldn't get separation in his routes to save his life.

I know I'm a Chiefs fan when I told my employers that I go to church on sundays so that I can stay home and watch Chiefs games

That's nothing. I've done that for every job I've had.

Now I just tell them straight up in the interview, "sorry, can't work Sundays. Gotta watch Chiefs."

I've quit jobs before because of Jayhawk tournie games.

Someone has to let me in on the Okoye joke. I've seen references to it, but can't quite figure the deal out.

Christian Okoye had an organized chat on ChiefsPlanet several years ago. He promised autographed 8x10's to everyone who sent him an email with their address. Never came. I spoke with him about it and he submitted an apology, explanation that his assistant blew it and he had located the list. He would be making right by the promise.

They're still enroute. Damned USPS.

You know you're a big Chiefs fan when:

--You know who the 'Real Deal' is.
--You remember when the brightest prospects were Brian Shay and Ted White and Jonathan Quinn.
--MIKE PETERSON carries a special place in your heart.
--You remember when Priest Holmes was just a 3rd down/change of pace back.

-- You actually believed the insider info on the old Star board that Corey Dillon was coming to KC.
-- You remember where you were the day Carl drafted Blackledge.
-- You regularly lament what might have been had Percy Snow walked that fateful day.

Yes, I remember that day....It was a colder than normal April in '83. I seem to recall it was overcast. Prime foreshadowing of the dark days that were to befall the Chiefs.
