Round 1, Denver took John Mobley (solid player) prior to Marvin Harrison. Hmmm... would like that one back, kinda.

Round 3, Denver picked twice (Detron Smith and Mark Campbell) passing on TO. I'm mixed on that one...

Reviewing the rounds and where those guys went, that's the misses. It's tough to say since neither was really too incredibly hyped and Denver had receivers in 96.

Ah well...

That's interesting. What a great WR draft.

Interesting that the best of the bunch was picked 4th.

I didn't remember all the receivers that came out that year, but I do remember the Chiefs lethal combination of Chris Penn & Sean La Chapelle!

Jeffers, Jermaine Lewis, and Reggie Barlow all 3 also had at least one excellent season...

Derrick Mayes and Jermaine Lewis also had their moments. Especially Jermaine Lewis as a punt returner

Hard to believe that Still, Van Dyke and Derrick Mayes were drafted ahead of TO??? I guess TO wasnt too highly thought of coming out of college?

TO needs to recognize that he was a shitty 3rd round WR from Tennessee Chattanooga... and apparently, nobody but Tennessee Chattanooga wanted him, so he should really count his blessings.
