Oakland or San Diego?

I haven't seen anybody talking about this game, but it's a tough choice. Do you root for our sworn enemy of the Raiders, who we hate with a fiery passion, when their win would benefit us? Or do you root for the Chargers, who we really don't hate all that much, but whose presence could keep us out of the playoffs?

No cop out answers on this one. Make your choice.

Oh Come on..this is easy.....root for the Raiders. The Raiders have nothing left to play for but Pride. The Bolts could be thes best team to NOT make the playoffs. I see the Bolts winning this game easily though.

A rivalry is one thing, but the rivalry doesn't mean near as much as making it to the playoffs. So I would have to go with the Raiders. Overall I would prefer an asteroid hitting the stadium or possibly the bubonic plague nailing both teams locker rooms would be preferable.

Crap, I screwed up my vote. I want the Raiders to win because I'm really worried about the Chargers getting our playoff spot. I guess old habits die hard.

This isn't even a close call.

1) I'd always vote in the Chiefs' best interest before I'd vote against a hated rival. No sense in cutting off one's nose to spite one's face.

2) Not only is it better for the Chiefs's playoff chances if the Raiders win, but it's also better for the Chiefs because it will impact the Raiders' draft position next spring. I don't want the Raiders drafting any earlier than necessary.

3) If the Raiders lose every game, Al Davis will get smart and fire Norv Turner and look for a better QB. If they play well down the stretch, he might decide to keep them around for another underachieving year.

A Raiders win is good for the Chiefs in lots of ways. In that context and that context only: Go Raiders!
