Doesn't really matter where you stay. You're going to hop on the interstate to get to the stadium anyway.

The Adams Mark is right across the street(I-70) from both stadiums. Probably a couple of other motel/hotel's as well. Yeah I wouldn't wait to make reservations for that game.

The Adams Mark has been The Clarion for over two years now. There is also a Holiday Inn right across the street from the stadium. Actually, I think the name of the hotel we stay at is The Clarion Sports Complex...ah, hell, let me go Google:

Clarion Hotel Sports Complex
9103 E. 39th Street
Kansas City, MO 64133

Didn't know that. Which explains the fact that I haven't been to a home game since 01. :( I usually stay with relatives when I'm in town. One of my Aunts used to work at the Adams Mark. But I knew there were a couple of other motels around the area also. Just didn't know which ones.

The airport is north of the city, the stadium is east of it. about a 20-25 minute drive between the two (on a normal day, not gameday traffic).

If you're not tailgting (or setting up your own tailgate anyway) and don't stay at the Clarion, and if you're not opposed to taking the bus, the city busses run a "Chiefs Express" that I have taken before. There are places around town where you board the bus and it takes you to arrowhead. Here's the info

http://www.kcata.org/chiefs.html

It ain't a limosuine but it's an easy way to get in and out without paying $20 to park.

I'm sorry to digress from the conversation here, but I must say that Brando's video of Tom Cruise shocking the hell out of Oprah is fargin hilarious. It damn near brought a tear to my eye. Well done Brando, well done.

If you're going to be in KC for NYE don't stay by the stadium. There will be noting to do the night before the game. Stay in Westport/Plaza and party then drag your but out to the game.

Airport is definitely in Missour in Kansas City North along I 29. Kansas is several miles west of the Airport across the Missouri River

Arrowhead is in Kansas City at the Junction of I 435 and I 70, Independence is several miles Northeast
