View Full Version : Colorado vs. Texas

Bob Dole is already tired of hearing the Texas O-line referred to as "the big eaters."

Texas should walk away with this one. 13-0 already.

Too bad the media has already decided that USC will be the national champs if they beat over rated UCLA.

Colorado is just plain bad. This is not the tune-up game you want for an opponent like USC.

Nope.

Are they even going to let Texas play USC?

Tune up game? They wont Play football for another month after this.Exactly. It's the last game they play before the title game. I don't think piss pounding a cupcake is the ideal way to keep your team sharp.

There was always the chance that Texas' bus crashed, so I wanted to wait for it to be official.

Looks liek they're doing their best to get Young back into the Heisman race.

Too bad UCLA's 117th ranked run D is going to undo it all tonight.

wouldn't it be great if Radio got hurt in a blowout win while trying to pad his heisman chances

Well, at least it isn't one of those crazy upsets that keeps someone from the big 12 out of the championship game.

Is Texas that good or is the rest of the Big 12 that bad?

They don't have any other decent QBs to play. All the good ones are redshirted.

Both. It'd be interesting to see how Texas or USC would fare if either were in a real conference like the SEC.

Normally I would agree with that, but this year it just seems no one conf is standing out. A lot of normally good teams are down across the board. I don't understand how in this age of "parity" that two teams can be just leaps and bounds ahead of everyone else.

Go Buffalo, Go Bruins.

I think that it looks like the ACC might be the best for right now. The BigTen, PacTen, SemiEducated(SEC), and Big12 just have one and maybe two good to great teams in each.

"Radio" is a movie about a "mentally challenged" kid who plays football.

I think the Big XII is just terrible. I think the Pac 10 is better than people give it credit for... I don't think it's the SEC, but USC has played some decent teams... Notre Dame, Oregon, Cal, Fresno St, UCLA today... the 2nd best team in the Big XII, well I don't even know really. Texas Tech was the one that was ranked the highest most of the year and they played a total creme puff schedule. Texas did have a nice win at Ohio State though.

Are you on drugs?

The SEC's 5th place team (Gators) completely destroyed a team playing the ACC Championship game.

As a whole, the SEC is 3-2 against the ACC. Both conferences have a 10-1 team (LSU and VT). The SEC has 3 teams at 9-2 and one at 8-3 whereas the ACC has one team at 9-2 and one at 8-3.

Both conferences have 5 teams in the Top 25. However, the SEC's lowest ranked Top-25 team is Florida at #17 where 3 of the ACC's 5 in the Top 25 are ranked #19 or below.

DaK,

Well after coming back down from my overdose I took another look at the standings of Division One and the six major leagues and some of the other nine win and two loss schools and you are correct. The Somewhat Edumacated Convention has the most with four. I did not realize that Flor. St. and BosColl had three or more losses. I hope that education is not even secondary when it comes to basketball so that they can be as great in that sport as well. It is funny in a league like that when you are granted the chance to drop out of high school twice. You might want to stop putting so much faith in the polls too. They are one of the things that keep NCAA Football down.
