That's nice. If we win the lawndarts national championship, please be sure to post about that, too.

Don't get me started about volleyball. Wichita St. was 18-0 in their conference, 28-3 overall, 26 win streak, won their conference thru the regular season, ranked 25th in the final poll and still doesn't get invited to the tournament of 64 teams. Yet Missouri St., who lost 2 out of 3 to WSU and a 15-3 conference record get to go.

The NCAA with moves like that, makes themselves as relevent as the WWE.

I agree. Also that there are some teams with worst conference records are playing. Not to mention that WSU's RPI is actually higher than Kansas.

I want Kansas, a team that got into the 64-team field with a 7-13 record in the Big 12, to play WSU in a match.

Allen Fieldhouse is fine. Anywhere the Jayhawks want to play. Problem is that nobody wants to play aganist a MVC team and lose, especially big schools.

Kansas is in with a 15-14 record, a 51 RPI and an eighth-place finish in the Big 12.

Wichita State is out with a 28-3 record, a 41 RPI, a No. 25 national ranking and an unbeaten record in the Missouri Valley Conference's regular season

I recognize the Valley isn't a strong league. And that Southern Illinois, Evansville, Drake and Indiana State -- with their combined 24-96 record -- were drags on the rest of the conference.

But don't tell me how great the Big 12 is, either.

Yes, Nebraska is as good as it gets. Texas and Missouri are pretty good, too. But after that you have a bunch of mediocrity.

Biggest shaft ever.

Exactly!

My wife goes to church with a one of the players. Those girls are pretty beat up about the whole deal.

To be honest, I'm tired of hearing the lame excuse that the MVC is a weak conference. Hell, I bet that WSU could beat KU in basketball this year.

While it sucks for the Valley, it couldn't have happen to a better school.

nlm WSU

Also we beat you in the conference tournament thats how we got in. Also I agree with you the Valley is a good conference, the lack of I-A football is why the respect isnt there.
