Damn, now I wish I had paid attention in World History. I know the british ruled a lot of cities at one time or another. It has to be a northern city somewhere, since it's beaches aren't useful. Looks to have western influence as far as the architecture goes.

Oslo, Norway?

Ding, ding, ding!

Darwin is the second-largest city in northern Australia, and is the capital of the Northwest Territory. It's also a major aboriginal population center, and I was having a lot of trouble finding a picture of an aborigine that wouldn't give it away. Here's one:

Qatar's capital city, Doha, is far less imposing/impressive. Apparently, there are some new buildings scattered about and construction everywhere.

Saggysack's picture looks quintessentially American, except for one thing: that long license plate on the car.

So who was copying American architecture in the 50s, when some of those buildings came up? Certainly the British isles were, and they were doing a lot of rebuilding, too.

My guess is that this might be either Dublin or Edinborough.

sydneyYou arrive in Sydney and scour the city for clues, but you can't find one person or thing that points you towards her having been there in months. Ms. Sandiego is apparently not a fan of the Opera House.

If it's not Sydney, I'll go with Adelaide. After arriving in Adelaide, you take in the sights briefly and begin to enter a local delicatessen to continue tracking Carmen. You suspect she isn't far away.

You catch a glimpse of a red coat and you hear alarm bells in your head. She turns and spots you, then begins making a break for it.

You pull out your trusty Glock and shoot wildly, catching her knee and part of her shoulder, as civilians scatter madly in fear. She falls to the ground in a heap, terrified by her near-death experience and hurting from her wounds. She's promptly apprehended by the local authorities, and you're later stripped of your position for endangering innocent lives.

On the bright side, that should be the last we see of Carmen Sandiego.

For now.
