i remember totally......

a whole bunch of snow fell on kc......i was coming in to town on business that day and when i got to my hotel (the drury inn across from arrowhead) all the power was out.....they couldnt let anyone into their rooms.......so i went across the street to the adams mark where they had a generator in the bar area......and what was happening there that night?.....derrick thomas's ky102 radio show.....it was one of the coolest nights i ever had in kc.....there were only a few people there and derrick as usual was running late but he showed......big smile and all......i remember the chiefs were playing the packers that week and the 102 jock called them the "green bay fudge packers" on the air.......when derrick got there the first thing he said was i cant believe you called them the fudge packers....

i know im rambling here but it was the first and only time i met derrick and i will never forget it.....the big smile .....great attitude....the whole package of a person....

thats my memory of the snow storm of 96

Hey, I remember that! I was a freshman at KU and it was snowing like mad as I left my late class on that Tuesday. Some kid in front of me slid on the sidewalk and fell face first onto the sidewalk. Maybe that will happen to the Rams if it snows! http://www.ChiefsPlanet.com/ubb/smile.gif

Wow. Snow in KC in October. I've lived away from KC since '87. I probably heard about it at the time, but have since forgotten. Rain or snow is fine by me. Any thing to slow down the dome boys.

This just might be the best defensive game plan anyone could ever come up with to slow these skinny punks down.

I recommend ALL Chiefs fans get very religious very quickly.

Are you talking about the infamous ice storm? I've never seen so many broken trees.

If it means anything, it's snowing here in Michigan this weekend.

The Lambs haven't faced a defense like the Chiefs all season. That team is made for a dome & artificial turf...get them in Arrowhead with 80K & the stuff that cows eat...they won't know what hit them! http://www.ChiefsPlanet.com/ubb/biggrin.gif

I just wish I had bought those tickets instead of the Faiders & Donkeys games...the talk of 16-0 is making me sick...almost as sick as I was in 1998 when Witless was predicting 16-0 for the Chiefs...
