View Full Version : Hail Chiefs!

Congrats to the Chiefs on their big win yesterday against the hated Broncos. Unfortunately, I wasn't able to watch the game, but I think it's perfectly clear that, when healthy, the Chiefs OLine is one of the most impressive weapons in professional football, right up there with Indy's passing attack, LaDanian Tomlinson, the Bears defense (this year, anyway), etc.

With the Steelers reeling and the Jags losing Leftwich, it would seem things are lining up fairly well for the Chiefs to get a wildcard berth even if they're unable to overtake the Broncos. As others have repeatedly chanted, the Chiefs do have a fairly tough schedule from here out, but if you can play well enough to win the games needed to get into the playoffs, then the team will be hardened and well-ready to play in January.

My wife told me not to stomp my foot on the floor after Denver scored their first TD. After the Chiefs' stop in the 4th Qtr with 2:01 left, I told her I wondered how many Denver fans are punching holes in their walls....

So be it......

For some strange reason, I wasn't very upset when the Donkeys scored first on that pass. It seems the fans have regained as much confidence as the team has. Hopefully it lasts!

The O-line didn't give up a single sack . Denver isn't known for the sack, but considering how often Trent has been on his back this season....huge
