per sirius NFL radio, not much of a story line behind it ,just that Tuiasasopo will start against jets.

I was hoping he'd stick around in Oakland a few years.I guess he's on his way out. :banghead: ROFL

So, they start next season with a new coach and a new QB. Sounds like another year of raiders less-than-mediocrity.

They should bring back Callahan.

Probably not a bad move as far as Oakland is concerned. Collins is most likely gone and the season is over for them. They need to know what they have sitting on the bench so they know how much they will need to do in the offseason concerning their QB situation.

Personally, I like Tui - well, I wouldn't want him here, but I like him as a QB for Oakland.:)

Damn Raiders. They must hate me as much as I hate them. Collins was my QB for the playoffs with Bulger going down.

My brother is a huge Eagles fan, and he loved Kerry Collins when he was with the Giants. he said, and I quote, "With Collins at the helm, it's a guaranteed two wins a year." I hope Oakland hangs on to Collins.

Wow! There is no way they think Tuiasasopo is the long term answer. Does this mean Collins is on his way out or is he so shaken that he needs to sit to get his confidence back.

He's due like 11 million in roster bonuses, next year.I would say he's on his way out.

When TUI came into the game in week 10 (?) in 2003 he brought Oakland back and was within 1 yard from stealing that game from us.
I haven't paid much attention to him beyond that, but I was impressed then with what I saw.

Those idiot Raider fans who cheered when Gannon went down last season must be heartbroken...

Scary Collins didn't even make it a full season with the team completely his.

Dead Space? Tell me, did you buy Episode 3 in the Wide Screen version or the Full Screen version that has all the "dead space" cut out?

Why are we just hearing this? We've missed out on two seasons worth of smack with the CARRIE bit. DAMMIT!

To quote Randy Moss "Kerry is a much better QB than Daunte (Culpepper)."

Hmmmm.........um nope, no he isn't actually. Your numbers are way down this season, Randy.

Actually, I remember it well. Some of the fans posting about how they were happy that Gannon got hurt because it was the only way a QB', who was 'a step up', was going to get a chance to 'take them to the next level' as long as Gannon was still there. ROFL

If they were smart, the would play Walter now. I was pretty bummed when Oakland nabbed him in the draft. Hopefully, they will completely mismanage the situation and end up cutting him or something.

Collins sucks bad, he has awesome WR's, no excuse for their passing game to suck.

Who's Daunte Culpepper?

That guy who has been sucking balls every game since Randy left.

Every one he's healthy enough to play anyway.

it's a good move. Anytime Collins has pressure, he fumbles or makes bad passes. He has no poise at all.

Yeah, I wouldn't be too happy about Tui taking over if you're a Chiefs fan. Everything I've seen of the guy makes me a little nervous.

No, he doesn't have the big arm, but the line isn't good enough at pass blocking to protect long enough to just heave it downfield anyway. What he does have is heart, which is more than Collins has, and can scramble when the pocket collapses.

I was sort of hoping they might cut Tui after the season, which won't happen now...I think he'd be a fine QBOTF after Trent taught him the ropes for a couple of years.

Anyway...
