Read this on tsn.ca (Canadian Sports network). Talking about CFL QB working out for the Chiefs next week.
I've seen this guy play and he really has some wheels, strong arm too. I think he can be the real deal. Hey if Flutie & Garcia can do it....

According to MOJO radio in Vancouver former NFL quarterback Steve DeBerg is helping Casey Printers prepare for NFL workouts in Tampa Bay.
Sources tell MOJO that Printers will workout for the Dolphins in Miami on Tuesday and for the Chiefs in Kansas City on Thursday.* The radio station says that Printers is getting interest from other NFL teams as well.
Printers was the CFL MVP in 2004 when he threw for 5,088 yards with 35 touchdowns and only ten interceptions.* He was also second on the team with 469 rushing yards and led the Lions with nine rushing touchdowns.
Despite struggling with shoulder and toe injuries in 2005 Printers managed to throw for 1,676 yards and nine touchdowns with six interceptions.* He also ran for 336 yards on just 38 attempts for an average of 8.8 yards per carry to go along with two rushing touchdowns.

Casey Printers will be the next CFL QB to make an impact in the NFL...
but only if his injuries heal properly. He has a cannon arm and great mobility...but for some reason our coach here in Vancouver kept his alligiance to Dave Dickenson (former San Diego Charger backup) despite Printers winning the MVP award. Like LJ...he won't settle for a backup role again. I'd love to see him in a Chiefs jersey...his first name is
"K-C" after all...

Printers?

PRINTERS? ROFL

Think of the headlines...

"Casey Prints blueprint for offensive success."

Everytime he torches someone's secondary, the fan smack will read:

"Casey took your D to the PRINTERS!!!"

I always thought the first name Casey...pronounced "Kay-Cee"...as in
KC...would be a big hit for the Chiefs media.

the Chiefs did sign a QB for training camp in the early DV years. Seems like he was a Grey Cup MVP or some such...sadly all I remember about him was he was black

edit: Grey Cup MVP Marcus Crandell-Mar 6, 2000

Those astersisks on his stats concern me. They aren't that impressive if he got them during a modern 162-game season.
