Ok, I need a gag gift for a Client's Christmas party.

Is there anyone here who could take a picture and make it look like the cover of playboy? Its a photo of a guy who is running for governor in Iowa and he wants to tax porn, which I find kinda funny, and don't know what the point of it really is.

Would someone be willing to do this for me?

Thanks

Hoov

What a liberal dope.

I bet this guy calls himself a convervative, eh Hoov?

Not to bring politics in it, but it's frustrating to see people trying to tag taxes on everything they want to get rid of.

My guy comes out and says he wan't child sexual offenders to wear tracking devises and this terd says he wants to tax porn. Not my kind of governor.

I'm all for making child molesters wear tracking devices. But anyone who wants to add taxes to things that they wish society would use less of is a liberal in my book. As in, that's a liberal use of taxation.

Yep, I'm with ya 100%

I was at a big Christian Dinner, and he gets up there and talked for 20 mins about porn and how he is going to tax it, I looked over at a buddy and said isn't already taxed? I friend said his wife must not let he have any porn around the house so he is going to punish us all.

Not to hijack, but it's funny that politicians are creating all this legislation to try and corral sex offenders.
If we are so certain there are going to re-offend, why the hell do we let them out in the first place? Just make it a capital crime and get it over with.

Republicans in the Iowa Senate want to do that, but the Dems don't want to even have a debate on the Death Penalty.

why tax porn? I thought it was free? How can you tax free?

HAHAHA! Isn't that the truth!

This reminds me of the traits that I don't particularly like in John McCain. I think politicians like that see their role in government as more like social engineer rather than constitutional representatives of the people. I think it's a real ill in our society too that causes great dysfuction. There would be no need for organizations like the ACLU if our politicians spent less time as regulators of morality, and more time on ensuring that every American citizen has equal access to opportunity. And I'm not talking civil rights here, or affirmative action. I'm talking open markets.

Open markets are a solution to every major problem in America. Unfortunately, open markets doesn't address morality, and so it's frowned upon by moral conservatives. Oh well. Taxing porn isn't going to make it go away. It's just going to bloat the government up with more of the peoples' money.

Well, this Friday night sucks. My wife left town to visit her parents for the weekend, my poker buddies are at home with their new babies. And I'm waxing political on the main forum about porn tax and open market.

Where's the eggnog?
