3rd and 3 and the Bears stop the Steelers a yard short of the first down. Flag. Offensive Pass Interference against the steelers. Decline it and make it 4th and 1 at the 50 and make the Steelers punt, right? Nope. Not the Bears. They take the penalty. 3rd and 13. Steelers pick up the first down and are now driving for a TD on the 1 yard line. :cuss:

Yep. I have no idea why they didn't just make 'em punt.

That would have been the smart call.

Actually, with their defense, and their (lack of) offense, I think taking the penalty, for them, was the smart call.
I know that if I were Luvie Smith, I would want to attempt to stay away from getting my offense pinned back at the goal line.

I'd have taken the flag as well... If you can't stop on a 3rd and 13... It's possible that you deserve to get scored on...

Normally, with the Bears D, I'd agree. But the Bears D isn't looking like the Bears D today. They're getting walked on by Pittsburg. In THIS case, I'd have made them punt.

Yep, we see how well that worked.
Punt from the 50 or possibly punt from the 40 if you do manage to stop them (which they didn't). Not enough of a difference to make that stupid gamble.

Bears getting owned so far. That's the bad news.
The good news - this is my first game in HD. WOW. PBJ

I'm seeing twice as much game picture as you are in crystal clarity.

Indy looks like it is going to take care of business. Maybe the Brown can hold up in the second half, I know it is asking a lot, but it would be nice.

Bears playing like the Cubs today. Stellas all over them, 21-3 and threatening more. :shake:

That was an odd choice, but I guess they know their field.

Yeah, but that last drive was amazing. A day late and a dollar short, but Orton looked like Montana throwing those two passes. Wow.

Hardly. The TD was a jump ball that the WR managed to pull down.

They said there had never been a 50 yard FG kicked there. Hard to believe.
