Does anyone else run any other fourms or BBS of any type?

I am thinking of setting one up to allow all my family and friends communicate?

any sugguestions

I am looking at the phpbb

basically $160 for an owned license plus $30 a year for updates. it's not bad once you actually own the license.

It kind of depends on what you want to add and how much time you want to spend on it every time they release a new version of phpBB.

You're still going to need to re-apply the mod every time you update the base phpBB package.
