With Christmas here, some old school buddies and I were reminicing and the top[ic of some old football games came up. We were and still are huge Chief fans and one of the guys had this cool game (well, cool at the time). I am guessing it was in the late to mid seventies(graduated in 82). Anyway, I need a little help if anyone would remember the game. It was a board game that you laid out ona table and it had a football field laid out with the stadium seating around it, so you looked down onto the "field". On each side were the controls, which were just little sliders that went under the field. One would pick the defensive plays and one would be on offense and pick a play. When both were done amnd happy with the play, you wopuld push a button and on the field a light would lite up and reveal the result of the play. Negatiove yards, positive yards, turnover, touchdown etc etc. The whole field had little "windows" under it and the light would lite up anywhere on the field. If I remember right it had a scoreboard and kept score and the time. If anyone remembers this game, please let me know, or if anyone has any fond memories of a "vintage" board football game, talk about it. I think tha the game was Monday Night Footbal, but not sure of that at all. just remember that it was a lot of fun, and many many time the Chiefs played the Chiefs, cause none of us wanted any other team!! LOL ANy help would be appreciated! Thanks!
