View Full Version : Should the Chiefs sign Joe Horn to be the #1 WR?

According to Soren Petro we should. He says Horn will be a FA this off season and the Saints can't afford to keep him.

I think this would be a good idea and short term fix. Our WR corps would look like this:

#1 Horn
#2 Kennison
#3 Parker
#4 Hall
#5 Boerigter or Thorpe or McIntyre

Too bad he signed a 6 yr extension on May 5, 2005.

Yeah that would pretty much seal Roaf's fate. If you want him to retire, go right ahead....

He is not going to be a FA. This is another example of a media person not knowing what the **** they are talking about.

I would much rather get Keyshawn although I don't know what his contract situation is like.

Too bad he signed a 6 yr extension on May 5, 2005. I'm unaware of this. Petro seems to think he'll be a FA.

What if they structured his contract so that he would have to pay back his signing bonus if Mrs. Roaf had any more of his babies?

every year people want a #1 and every year KC "leads" the NFL on Offense let DV and AS do their work the know it.

I'd prefer Brandon Lloyd (RFA from SF). If he gets a 3rd round tender, I'd go for him.

Joe Being Joe.

Joe Horn: Sup baby, Willie around?

Willie Roaf's Wife: No, he won't be back 'till tomorrow.

Joe Horn: Coo', you watchin' the game?

Willie Roaf's Wife: No, I was reading about alimony.

Joe Horn: I just scored my second touchdown.

Willie Roaf's Wife: You playing that stupid video game again?

Joe Horn: No baby, I mean in the real game.

Willie Roaf's Wife: That's great, you gonna make more money next year then?

Joe Horn: I dunno baby, listen how's about after the game I come over there and give you a nice oil massage.

Willie Roaf's Wife: A'ight, but I need some strawberries and some champaigne.

Joe Horn: You know it baby. N' how's 'bout after that we get a little freaky 'n shit.

Willie Roaf's Wife: I'm kinda tired from my pedicure.

Joe Horn: C'mon baby.

Willie Roaf's Wife: Oh a'ight, but I don't really like it when you make me lick yo ass Joe.

Joe Horn: Aw come on baby, that just Joe bein' Joe.

He'd be a nice pick up, but isn't he essentially a Samie Parker clone?

That's who we should have drafted instead of Sims.

I'm hoping that Craphonso Thorpe "ascends" and makes the opening day roster. Hopefully, his injury will be completely healed and he'll have had a year in the offense and can make a move.

We could have traded down, got additional first day picks, and still drafted Stallworth.

Woulda, shoulda, coulda...

Get Horn now?

Why? We had him once and weren't smart enough to recognize or somebody was just too gd stubborn to recognize that the guy was a great talent.

F'in Marty. I'll never forgive that yellow toothed ......

Horn was still here in Gunther's first year.

It was Peterson. Again.

Is there something wrong with having 2 ascending, explosive, speed guys who can stretch the field? Also, did you notice how the announcers talked about Parker making big 3rd down catches?
