Since the advent of the seven-round draft format in 1993, here are how many QBs that have been drafted in each round.

1st round - 30
2nd round - 9
3rd round - 16
4th round - 21
5th round - 15
6th round - 25
7th round - 38

24 teams have invested a first-round pick in a QB in the past 13 drafts. The eight that have not are Dallas, New Orleans, Arizona, St. Louis, Miami, Denver, Oakland, and Kansas City.

5 teams have invested more than 1 first-round pick in the QB position during that time. They are Washington (Campbell, Ramsey, Shuler), Chicago (Grossman, McNown), San Francisco (Smith, Druckenmiller), Cincinnati (Palmer, Smith), and San Diego (E. Manning, Leaf).

Of the 1st-round QBs, 19 were drafted in the top ten, 5 in Picks 11 through 20, and 6 in Pick 21 or later.
