Everyone I know who watched that was doing so because Tim McGraw was in it. Therefore, I thought I'd be a nonconformist.

Any Given Sunday was alright. The only really crappy part was when the coach and the QB were talking and they kept cutting away to video clips, I guess because the dialogue wasn't powerful enough.

I liked it,especially the following quote by the coach.

""It's TV, it changed everything, changed the way we think forever. I mean the first time they stopped the game to cut away to some f*cking commercial that was the end of it. Because it was our concentration that mattered, not theirs, not some fruitcake selling cereal."

My favorite football movie, was every high school kids wet dream when I was a senior. We are talking naked hot chicks, and some good fake football. Varsity Blues.

Oh yeah, Waterboy was a riot. Another great football movie.

Waterboy was the worst sandler movie ever.

It's not one of the worst, but I always thought "Semi-Tough" fell way, way short of the mark. The book was infinitely better. The movie was shallow and basically just a star vehicle for Burt and Kris.

JoBob:I love your legs. They got your feet at one end, and your pussy at the other, and I wanna f*ck you."

Yep,it's definitely my favorite of any football movie.I did an IMDb search and here's some other good quotes from it as well.

JoBob:Where's your gun, Elliott?
Phil Elliott: Freud says that guns are an extension of your dick, Jo Bob.

Phil Elliott: Jo Bob is here to remind us that the biggest and the baddest get to make all the rules.
Charlotte: Well I don't agree with that.
Phil Elliott: Agreeing doesn't play into it.

Conrad Hunter: People who confuse brains and luck can get into a lot of trouble.

Jo Bob: I've never seen titties like yours. Could I show your titties to my friend O.W.?

Maxwell: Ladies, ever had a quarterback sandwich?

Coach Johnson: If you moved any slower, you'd be going backwards!

On a related note, at some point I'd like to revisit some of those old Kurt Russell/Dean Jones/etc. Disney flicks like "The World's Strongest Man" and "The Computer in Tennis Shoes." As a kid, those movies were entrancing and highly entertaining, and I wonder what I'd think of them now.
