Per Athan, the "out" in Edwards' contract?

What do you guys think about that? I thought Edwards sounded emphatic that he was staying in New York. It's the first I have ever heard of Edwards' out in his contract. Would Athan really have info that the New York media doesn't?

it could happen that Edwards ends up in KC, but there is no magic bullet "out" clause. The Jets may make it easier for Herm to leave because of their close ties with KC (Bradway). But Herm does not have a clause that says he is free to leave if he does not get lox on his bagel.
