View Full Version : Hawaiian Boy: Your Bet Paid in Full

Hawaiian Boy,

Here it is in a nutshell:

The Raiders were the dominant team on the field Sunday. I was impressed with Wheatley and his ability to shed tacklers like a winter coat in May. Kauffman was his usual evasive self and to be congratulated on his talent to avoid guys twice his size and get the yards downfield. Tim Brown make catches when necessary and proved his worth in the AFC West. James Jett was the key in making the clutch necessities to make your team victorious. Lincoln Kennedy and your Oline looked like a panzer front with the way they kept the defense out of the quarterbacks face for the entire day.

Congratulations to you and your team. I am humbled and cannot wait for our second meeting.
JOhn - A bet is a bet... I will not post anything negative on this thread. HB won, and I will be a man and pay in full.

Man, that had to be tuff, but done well..

JQ, just back in town, I know, but like I said, it's a long season. At least I bet against the Raiders for the 3rd time and it paid off for you, Damn that Black & Silver crow tastes ****ty!

Well said Wolf, lets at least say we lost with dignity, not just the team, but their fans as well. Good win JQ.

There are still 10 games left last time I checked. We have a long way to go. The Raiders haven't heard the last of us.

JQ, We played hard but the better team won today. Morris' fumble and Wesley's over pursuit of Brown on the fourth and one play were really killers; rookie mistakes made by rookie players. I am willing to allow them to develop. Raiders played a tough road game and continued to show that they are never out of a game. See you in three or so weeks.

I didn't lose a bet with you but today I feel like an...
AZZ Man.

To be honest, I had completely forgotten about this wager...
Kudos to you for stepping up.
I thought both teams played well and I for one am tired of these Maalox games... Lucky us get to play each other again in a few weeks.... What a screwy schedule... Interdivision games should fall at the end of the year but it seems like we all finish up mostly with NFC West teams.

To the rest, you got class.

Smitty, I told you.... Always bet black!
