Roaf, Shields, T-Rich.... all those guys.

Does this effect their decision in a negative way (at least from my perspective)?

Probably. Name one coach not named Switzer to come in and take his team to the Super Bowl in his first year.

Siefert, Gruden.

I think it depends on who the next coach is. Herm Edwards is a guy that many players really, really like and respect. They may stay and play for him (at least Roaf and T-Rich).

Some guys that are loyal to Vermeil may quit. Hopefully, it will be Eric Hicks.

I'm sure there's plenty of guys on this team though that were ready for a change...

I suspect, No. Unless they hire some real dipshit.

The upside to the hiring of Edwards to me would be the end of the Hicks "era", and possibly the start of the Abraham "era".
