Sherman and Martz get canned after making the playoffs 4 out of 6 seasons, while Vermiel gets a hero's send-off after 1 playoff season out of 5.

Even total failures like GRob get tearful send-off press conferences when they "resign" from this organization.

I'm really looking forward to the reminiscing that takes place at Peter Guinta's "we're not renewing your contract" press conference.

remember though, we were 9-0 at one time.

I think it was more of a celebration of his career accomplishments and not just his time in KC. I agree with you though, his KC career was an overall disappointment.

I visited the Hall of Fame's exhibit on that in Canton. They had a Dexter McCleon shoelace and an Eddie Freeman mouthpiece. The first-person narration by Omar Easy gave me chills.

Ah, one more thing I really hadn't considered to annoy the hell out of me.

Vermeil never came close to sniffing the success these guys had, and we send him off like he's friggin Lombardi.

What? You think King Carl would let his best friend get booed out of arrowhead? Pishaw I say, Pishaw.

Both of them should have been booed out of Arrowhead. :grr:

When will Carl finally be let go? How many free passes will this guy get?

Remember, his REAL job is to make the Hunt family money. That he does very well. :shake:

True, but there is only so much the fans are willing to take. Pretty soon the stands will look like 1980.

At least the crappy teams of the '80's led to high draft picks like Neil Smith and Derrick Thomas who gave Marty the talent to win in the '90's.

Ive said it over and over....Carl isnt going anywhere until Arrowhead averages about 20,000-30,000 fans on gameday. Simple as that. Carl is smart enough to never let the team be truly awful like in the 1980's. He always gives just enough to tease, but never the full enchilada.
