No substance other than Vermeil love.

Any mention of coaching candidates, possible moves, anything of substance, or is it purely Grandpa Love Fest 2006?

Dick thanked the fans. Classy guy.

It appears to just be a bif Vermeil send-off conference. I don't think there will be any real news.

Listening to him list all the accomplishments of this offense over the last five years makes me sick to my stomach. For us to have been that good, and done so little, is disgusting.

I won't miss his blubbering or his underachieving teams.

Cry me a river. NO MORE TEARS unless they are tears of joy. I will follow this team till I am no more but I want a Super Bowl victory. I am sick of excuses and hearing how successful the Chiefs have been. It has gotten very old.

With that said, Thanks Dick - you are class.

Same here. I feel like I've been blue-balled for the last 5 years. GTFO already and get someone in here that can put a competitive "playoff team" together. That includes CP.

He said something about not fulfilling their goal of a SB, but that they did not fail. Um, Dick, not reaching a goal = failure...

So far I've had three people in my office ask me how sorry I am that Dick retired. They all seemed shocked when I told them I was only sorry that the weepy sonofabitch didn't quit two years ago. :grr:

No he's not, though he should be in the very good coach category. His win loss record is not something to be that proud of IMO.

He took over a couple of crappy teams in Philly and the Rams. Took both to the SB, and he won one of them. I don't know if that's HOF material, but I feel robbed that we couldn't get to the playoffs more than one time in 5 years (and no playoff wins with a 13-3 record).

Yeah but the teams he took over were total crap with long playoff droughts. Then especially in the Rams case, he left after one winning season. He could've kept on coaching the Rams and padded his record.
