I'm happy he may be our new head coach, but it kinda worries me that the fans are really happy.

Thoughts?

They are just pretending. They know deep down inside of them they are crying.

The Jets fans are happy to see Hermie leave because he is a Marty clone.

Most Jets fans I know think Herm won w/Parcells players. Once those were gone, you have this year. I think that's a bit unfair given the injury situation. But I'm not thrilled with the idea of giving up draft picks for a mediocre coach.

People here complain about AS as an offensive coordinator.

Point being: people are stupid.

The fact is, if any of these reports are true, then I'm just going to resign myself to 4 years of Martyocrity.

That's assuming that Carl does actually step down when his contract expires.

Even if that does happen, he'll probably be replaced by one of his desciples, so I guess I should just resign myself to Martyocrity until I die.

Ah well, at least I got to watch SB IV.

Jets fans have a history of crucifying their coaches.

I've listened to WFAN & the Jets fans sound pretty much like Chiefs fans when MartyBall was in KC.

It's pretty scary to listen to....
