It seems that we dismiss Fisher because he is not available or under contract. So what? Edwards is under contract as well.
Would your preference be to get persmission to talk with Fisher and give up a draft pick or Edwards and give up a draft pick?

i saw on the a.m. news that the Rams will be asking for permission to speak with Fisher.

Fisher or Edwards?

im fine with either choice...i did hear a report the other day saying that fisher and the titans were close to a buy out of his contract

I would be WAY more open to giving up picks to get Fisher than I would for Edwards

I would absolutely love to see Fisher as the new KC HC

Fisher and overrated do not go together. Minus the purge of players in the last years, Fisher has had solid O, D, & special teams.

Anyone that doesn't think Fisher comes in here and does well should get their head out of their ass.

Once again, Carl won't even talk to him---- shock

Neither choice is particularly enticing.

I think the difference is that the Chiefs know Edwards is interested in this job.

Fisher, a much better coach IMHO. But he's not a friend of the program, so no bother to discuss.

Who cares?

Carl isn't buddies with Jeff Fisher, so nothing will happen.

more the reason to contact the titans and ask to talk to Fisher. IF he wants out, would you rather goto ST(D) Louis or KC...

Feel free to explain to me the brilliance that is Jeff Fisher then.

He's a solid coach, but I'm not looking for a "solid" coach, I'm looking for someone who is going to win us a championship, and last time I checked Fisher ain't been winning any championships in 11 seasons. 4 playoff berths in 11 seasons. Hell Herm has 3 in 5 seasons, and I'm sure as heck not excited about him either. Yawn...

Exactly if you dont have your shit on Carls Dick you will not be considered for this job!

Also, I don't think Fisher would come as cheaply (in terms of draft picks) as Edwards might. I think the Chiefs know that the Jets may be more willing to let Edwards walk than extend his contract. I don't know if that's the case with Fisher.

Carl is dead set on hiring a minority and there is the difference between a difference maker coach in Fisher and a never was in Edwards.
