Didn't see it posted yet,
Childress Chosen as New Head Coach
Jay Glazer, of FOXSports.com, reports the Minnesota Vikings have chosen Brad Childress, formerly the offensive coordinator of the Philadelphia Eagles, as their new head coach. The two sides have begun negotiations and as long as they can work out contract terms, the team is expected to name him their head coach Friday, Jan. 6, at a press conference.

Makes perfect sense. A team with 17 runningbacks hires a coach that doesn't run the ball.
The RB market just dropped out the floor.
Keep f#cking doubting Al............

They actually have not hired him yet according to the report on NFL Network. They are supposedly in the final stages of negotiations. They are close enough however for Childress to have told several assistants that if he comes they will not be retaining their positions (also according to NFL Network). So it is very close.

How many draft picks are the Vikings going to give up for Childress?

How many draft picks are the Vikings going to give up for Childress?None it is a promotion, never any need for compensation in a promotion scenario.

It was a smartass question, Jim.

Is a a smartass response.
