Sad attempt at humor, but what would be even sadder is if, he brought Jimmy back- or brought humdinger-he really sucks.

I don't want to see a step back in the offense-balance would be good. Same O-different D.

Warfield-has got to go!!!!!!!

It's Rich Scanlon.

New words had to be created to describe the wonder and glory of Rich Scanlon.

Kendrell Bell. No way did he earn the big roster bonus he has due to him.

I expect to see these guys gone before the start of next season.

Kendrell Bell

Shawn Barber

Jerome Woods

Dexter Mcleon

Will Shields- Retirement

Id like to see several more go. Eric Hicks, etc...but you never know.

Bell and Barber are big cap numbers and neither are worth the price. Woods is washed up, and with Benny Sapp emerging as a promising nickelback there is no need for Mcleon.

Shields with probably retire, unfortunately. Id like to see him come back, but with his back and knees, I couldnt blame him if he called it a career. He's done all he could do for the Chiefs and has my respect.

In my ideal world we would first completely change defensive schemes. Then get a really solid and young #2 CB, move Warfield to safety to replace Wesley, have Wesley replace Woods (gone), get rid of McCleon, get rid of Hicks (or at least make sure he is only depth).

We would restructure Bell's contract and the changed scheme would utilize him and DJ properly. Finally we would find one monster DT that could tie up the middle.

Not sure I would be for pushing any particular Offensive player out the door.

I think Bell is gone. He just looked like crap all year. He didnt deliver the bone crunching hits that he was brought in here for due to his bad shoulder. I think the Chiefs take that money due to Bell and use it elsewhere.

I can't imagine letting go of Barber without giving him one more shot in TC...I thought the guy played well at LB better than Bell anyway....maybe we can trick someone into a Holmes/Bell package for a better 1st pick

Somewhere on the BB I read that he would follow Herm where ever he departs to.

Abraham was the Jets' franchise player this year. It would be a nice thought, but I doubt the Chiefs will have the cash available to land Abraham here.

If Chris Horn is nothing but a special teams player next year I will be very disappointed. He is not the lest be an NFL WR.

The kid has great hands , and I would credit Horn for that intangible.

The guy never drops the ball.

Great then we have the makings of a a nice stereotype white WR. He has minimal abilitly to get open and make plays.

I love his drive which is what I would like him to be around for special teams but IMO he has very little to offer as a WR.

Priest Holmesi agree...

it probably will be priest who will retire because of his injury and the emergence of lar-ry lar-ry...

i really don't expect shields back either, but he will not make the final decision to retire until later...

i'm sure his heart wants to keep playing, but the body is too wracked and cracked to do it again...

I think Boe and Horn will be replaced by Crappy and McIntyre.
