All this denying everything. Thats the only thing that has pissed me off about the past couple of weeks. Every coach does it. They all say the same things for their halftime interviews. Avoiding issues, no comments, its getting very old.

If this is what bothers you, you may need a hobby.

WTF do we need halftime interviews?

For that matter, WTF do we need sideline reporters?

Damn, he's right. I'm going to boycott the NFL as soon as the Super Bowl is over with.

What's with the 'become' crap? Do you remember some sort of time when any business wasn't secretive about contracts, mergers. etc? The NFL and AFL were always very competitive between the teams and a lot of negotiations are done under a shroud of secrecy and deliberate mis-information.

If that's what does it for you.

Really, there are tampering rules to worry about, if the Chiefs admit to going after Herm and they don't get him, then he demands a bigger contract from the Jets, say buhbye to a first day pick.

Coaches are not going to call out, or blame players unless it is calculated. There are too many complications with the NFLPA, salary cap, etc, etc.

I really don't know what you expect, we get better coverage now then we ever did in the past.
