Can't wait to hear the flood of excuses if/when they do. Berman may finally have a coronary.

Maybe Brady can pull a Lienart and say they are still the better team.

Well, I know that Peter King will go OD on some double deep fried fatballs with butter and mayonaise, with a side of double half caf/decaf chocolate latte shit, then Andrea Kremer and Suzy Kolber will go "Thelma and Louise" off a cliff. After that - I think I'll be content for a while.

Refs were on their side tonight.

Peter King is a Pats homer BIG TIME. He voted LOGAN MANKINS as offensive rookie of the year. LOGAN FREAKIN MANKINS.

Peter King is just a bandwagon jumping bitch.

Just wait until someone displaces the Pats as SB Champions and just watch how fast his fat ass can move when jumping on that bandwagon.

Given the Chiefs are out of it, I hope we never find out. If the Pats do lose though, I hope it is to Indy, I would really like to see Peyton Manning in the Super Bowl.

Who is going to beat them? Chokes-I mean Colts?

**** Peyton Manning.

I hope that he never, ever, sniffs a SB.

Sorry, but I hate Manning-Colts knocked us out of the playoffs twice-I will never root for those crybabies. The refs let their line get away with murder to protect Peeton. I hope they lose.

I'm not saying that the Pats are going to lose this year.

I'm saying whenever they do lose, Peter King won't be able to jump off that bandwagon fast enough.

I want the Pats to get done by Chicago in the SB with Jeff Blake at QB.

Me too, but I'm afraid he'd disappoint. He hasn't shown the balls to get it all the way done, YET.

I hope he ends his career like Marino. He can have his stats but he never won the big one.

If the Chiefs don't win, New England can win it every year for all I care. As long as Dungver doesn't win it, I'm happy.

I pretty much agree with this...

That and the Rams and Raiders. But I don't need to worry about that. :)

Please. I'm happy my team won. What do you want from me.

And besides, these ARE the "good old days" that I'll be remembering 30 years from now. I'm loving it and don't give a flying fug what "people" think.

Childhood. I don't remember the good years we had in the mid/late 70s as I was too young. I do remember the horrendous years under Erhardt, the Ron Meyer joke years, the quick rise and fall under Ray Berry, 1-15 under Rod Rust, etc., etc.

I'm not fair weather, johnny-come-lately to the Patriots. I've more than paid my dues. Lisa Olsen in the lockeroom, the drug situation after the '85 Super Bowl thrashing by the Bears, etc.

They aren't going to lose.

They'll beat the Broncos.

They'll beat the Redskins.

They're going to win another one. That's obvious after this game.

Appreciate it, and thank sweet chocolate Jesus you won't have to sit through a Manning V. Manning suckoff super bowl...

i'll tell you why i root for the pats, now that kc is out. i love their head coach. he's a football genius. in fact when my children decide they want to get into football, i'm going to point them in bellichick's direction. the whole team plays sound football under his leadership, and that of tom brady. i appriciate the fact brady has won 3 super bowls, and isn't cocky about it. he just goes right back to work. young men who are just getting into the game can learn alot from these pats.
and i just like to see history made.

I remember our last playoff lost to manning and the colts.. When did they knock us out a second time...You did the same thing I did initially. We have never lost twice to Manning and the Colts. But we have lost twice to the Colts 95 and 03. That post was not the clearest ever written.

How 95 could ever be forgotten to a Chiefs fan is beyond me.

That sting won't ever go away...

That sting won't ever go away...I agree, I am pretty sure was the Manning-Colts reference that caused the confusion, at least it did for me. I assumed that meant Manning led Colts.
