Chris Mortensen announced just now on ESPN, that the Chiefs and Edwards agreed to a 3 million dollar a year, 4 year deal!

Sounds kinda low to me!

The local folk have been taling of Herm getting an incentive laden contract, that could end up getting him as much as FIVE mil a year.

No link to this, just what I've heard on the local sports shows.

Looks like Edwards contract has the same amount of years that Carl's contract has left. I like it.

That is a far cry from the 5 for 20 that was reported Friday.

That's a nice deal for KC for a coach that's been to the playoffs three years out of five.

I'm guessing there are $8 million worth of incentives and an optional year.

4/12 guaranteed, 5/20 maximum

If one of the incentives is winning a Super Bowl, he can get the biggest damn bonus in history for all I care.

I figured Carl/Lamar would take care of him.

Incentives are the way to go. No doubt
