I could go fid out info on Priest's contract and what The Colts would need to give The Chiefs in compensation, but it's much more fun discussing this with Chiefsplanet(plus I'm lazy). Since we have Larry Johnson and Edjerin may be leaving The Colts, I wouldn't mind seeing Priest go to a contender. Plus it would be cool to see Larry and Priest both in the next AFC Championship game. I know I'm dreaming.

I understand The Colts are in salary cap hell next year and need to release a few players. Reggie Wayne ending up in Red and GOld would be nice.

Holy hell. Can you imagine if Priest went to the Colts and they won a Superbowl next year.

Priest is DONE. He hasn't been able to finish a complete season in years. He'll be 33 years old this upcoming season. He's a 3rd down back at best and cannot handle a full load anymore.

If he was smart, he would be concerned with his health and future. He should just retire.

I'd be all for Priest winning a SB with whatever team he ends up with. He deserves it more than most players out there I think due to his talent and off the field demenor.

He already got a Super Bowl ring with Baltimore. How does he deserve it more? Because he couldn't finish three out of the last four seasons? Or his refusal to be interviewed by the local media? Or the fact that he didn't speak to his coach for DAYS after his injury? Or the fact that he completely disappears from sight each season after his injuries have occurred?

You're certainly seeing something in Holmes that I'm not. Because I think that he's a team player LAST.

Yikes.

Off the field demeanor?

Sorry, after Priest leaves this organization, I could give a rats ass if he ever wins again.

I loved what he did here. But, I liked the player on the field, not the one off.

You are dreaming. If you don't believe me just go look at the ebay listing for the Peyton Manning signed Helmet. There's even a link to it here on Chiefsplanet.

Yeah, Priest is kind of a hard guy to figure out. I mean, I love his stuff on the field...my boys have the Fathead and everything, but I don't know if he has been stung by the business or what, but he's never at the games, coaches don't know what He's doing. He seems to be a good community guy, fairly quiet. But it is bad for him to just disappear when superstars get injured all of the time and are on the sidelines.

I don't know.

For some reason I think Priest will end up as an Arizona Cardinal before next season

Thats that they like us to believe, i could care less if he speaks with the media, Hell who really wants to after bieng asked the same question 100 times.

I hightly doubt he doesnt speak with his coaches, i am sure they just say that, so people can STFU about things.

Priest wouldnt be the first to leave KC and win a superbowl. Since the freaking team chokes year in and year out.

I don't know.I am pretty sure coaches tell hm just stay at home with your family and your father. We all know how Dick Vermeil is a family guy, i bet you it was Vermeil that told him not to even come back. Family over everything else. even football. Priest is never in trouble with the law, he is just a quite laid back kinda guy. there is nothing wrong with that. We dont even know the coaches or his side really. Then again i am sure you all think coaches never lie. lol

NO ONE is going to give PH anything other than the minimum league salary if the Chiefs release him. AGAIN, he'll be 33, can't finish a season and is obviously NOT a team player.

Why do so many people have an incurable fatuation with PH? He's just a freakin' football player.
