Also, McCarthy indicated that Tampa Bay quarterbacks coach Paul Hackett would not be joining him in Green Bay. McCarthy discussed the possibility of trying to hire Hackett as offensive coordinator  before deciding to go with Jagodzinski, a coach with a background in line play.

"Paul has a two-year contract with Jon (Gruden) and I don't think he's going to be leaving Tampa any time soon," PBJ McCarthy said. We had a long conversation about the direction I was going and hes excited for me.

Well, you know what happened in GB. Favre probably told Packers' brass he was out of there if Hackett was named OC.

And ownership needs to have the guts to say, "Then retire."

Hackett should be banned from coming within a 1,000 mile radius of Arrowhead, UNLESS he is coaching/coordinating for an opposing team... then by all means, welcome to KC Paul!

I'd take a 90 year old Favre over Hacket in his best year any day of the week and twice on sundays.
