Ok, I went with the Honda Accord EX... as Brock stated its an appliance car... I dont need flash, just needed functionality, and inexpensive gas solutions.

With my second child born last Friday, I definitely need window tinting.

I live in Kansas and would like a good professional tinting job... any recommendations with what type I should go with, or WHO I should go with?

TIA

Please help me see the correlation between having another child an window tinting. Does it help boost there I.Q?

The sun is bright as ****.

Makes sense now. So you mean that is why my kids are always raising cane in the backseat. They need some window tint. I should've bought them the Blue Blockers.

Get a good quality tint Luminar (sp?).

You can research products online.

Dude... there's this place in Raytown I recommend everyone to and I haven't had one person dissatisfied.

It's on 350.
But I have an inside... I know one of the guys that work there and he has a shop of his own and he does the stuff even cheaper.

He installed (on my wifes mini-van) DVD player, 7" LCD, Remote start & tinted 2 front sides and eyebrowed the front for $620.The DVD & LCD installation and materials alone will run about that much.

I have had two cars done at Auto Glass and Tint Shop. It is on Shawnee Mission Parkway, just west of I-35. Good price, excellent work, and the one time I did have a problem with the tint gettting a bubble, they replaced it with no questions.

I went to a guy on North Oak in Gladstone who was pretty reasonable, but it's been several years and I don't remember his business' name for sure, but, after searching for "tinting" on yp.yahoo.com I think it was Kc Tint Works.

Window tinting?
Is your kid going to live in a bubble too?

heh...

I figure Ill give them a convienence or two along the way... The newborns face backwards, you know... and that sun is always a bitch the direction that I head in the morning.

Gonna go with that place on Shawnee Mission and i-35 because I also have a rock chip in my front window, that I got this morning!! :cuss:

Hey Ari, did you go to that place? How did it work out for you where ever you did go? The interior of my car is somewhere just on the cool side of the sixth circle of hell and I'm about sick of it. I can drive that f**ker with the AC going full blast and it takes an hour to cool off if the interior has been heating up all day.

Simplex, all of my cars have been tinted over at Midwest Tint on 40 Highway. All have done better than excellent.

heh. I didn't end up getting any. We got the Blueblocker sunglasses for the kids, like Mr. ChiefsfaninPA suggested.

Not a problem, I have had theirs on my Camry for 3 years and there has only been slight fading.

Okay. There is a reason I ask. Can you put some decent money toward a quality job?

kings kustoms in blue springs seems to do a good job, a few of my friends have gone there and the tint job is pretty good. no bubbles or anything.
