Interesting. Brad Johnson was looking for a trade the other day, because he was told he wasn't going to be the starter.

I realize that Culpepper and Moss have a rich onfield history together, but continuing to bring in aging, fading, has-been quarterbacks isn't going to solve Oakland's problems.

The Raiders can't afford him, especially with Culpepper wanting more money. Besides wouldn't the Vikings take a huge cap hit for trading him?

Culpepper is overrated

Culpepper already has a massive contract, and a shredded knee. I don't know why he'd want more money, and at 28 he's not exactly aging for a QB.

Although Oakland would be stupid enough to take in his massive contract.

I think the rumor that Culpepper will end up reuniting with Dennis Green in Arizona is more likely than this one.

I think Oakland got excited about Culpepper's implication in the stripper-boat scandal, and said "That's Raider material" and started courting him.
I wouldn't be surprised if Al Davis has left a couple of messages on Wesley's machine already

I think everything is traded, including the cap numbers.
