50 years old today. Ugh.

I wanna know what happened to the last 30 years? Seems I was just 20 and then... 30 years went by in about 10 minutes. Inside, I'm perpetually 25. I still love old-school metal cranked to top volume. I'm still the same exact size I was in high school. I still have my hair. I still wear rock T-shirts and leather. I still gig regularly. I don't feel 50. The only thing really different is I now need reading glasses when attempting to read the phone book. Other than that, I feel exactly the same. Will I be 90 years old someday, sitting in my rocking chair listening to AC/DC? I think I will.

Just giving the young guys a glimpse of their future... :)

Happy birthday! Good to see you around the board again

2005 was an up and down year for me. I got laid off, Mrs. Zepsinger recovered from breast cancer, started my own biz, started another job. CP had to take a back seat for awhile. Hopefully, 2006 will be much better.

Don't dispair, our boy Robert turned 58 this year and has been nominated for two Grammy's...

the record industry kind, not grandchild kind. ;) Excellence doesn't cease with age.

Happy Birthday!!!!

Does anybody remember laughter?...

I mean, seriously...at your age--can you remember laughter or anything else for that matter...

Where *is* that confounded bridge??

And you run and you run
To catch up with the sun, but it's sinking
Racing around to come up behind you again
The sun is the same in a relative way, but you're older
Shorter of breath, and one day closer to death

Shorter of breath, and one day closer to deathI use to love that song, when I was in my 20's.

Every year is getting shorter, never seem to find the time...

Happy Birthday.

Every year is getting shorter, never seem to find the time...

Happy Birthday.

And then one day you find- 10 years has got behind you
No one told you when to run- you missed the starting gun

Those words are so true....

Glad to know I am not the only grey haired man sitting in his car rocking out while getting strange looks from the kids in the next car over.

Happy Birthday Zep!

Remember, If there´s a bustle in your hedgerow don't be alarmed now.
It's just a spring clean for the May-Queen.
Yes there two paths you can go by.
But in the long run.
There´s still time to change the road you´re on. :)

(Sung to the tune of "When The Levee Breaks")

If you keep on agein', your eyesight is going to go,
If you keep on agein', your eyesight is going to go
When your eyesight goes, you'll have no place to stay.

Mean old birthday taught me to weep and moan,
Mean old birthday taught me to weep and moan,
Got what it takes to make a mountain man leave his home,
Oh, well, oh, well, oh, well.

Don't it make you feel bad
When you're tryin' to find your way home,
You don't know which way to go?
If you're goin' down South
They go no work to do.
If you don't know about Alzheimers.

Cryin' won't help you, prayin' won't do you no good,
Cryin' won't help you, prayin' won't do you no good,
Now, cryin' won't help you, prayin' won't do you no good,
When you get this old, mama, your bowels won't move.

All last night, looked at my cake and moaned,
All last night, looked at my cake and moaned,
Thinkin' about my home and my car loan.

Going, going to poor house...
Going to the poor house...
Sorry but I can't take you...
Going down ...
going down now ...
going down....
