Too late IMO.

People already forget how that day felt.

Way too soon. Especially if its not a very well done movie.

Just watch the firefighters documentary. That is the only true representation of 911 anyone needs to see.

My guess is that it will be very well done. I don't think it is too soon as the trailer looks like the focus on the movie is about the heroes that took back over the cockpit of flight 93, keeping it from heading into Washington. Looks like it will be done tastefully and will focus on the tragedy while reminding people of the people who stepped up and did something about the situation.

Actually, it will probably be very well made. It has a budget, a major studio behind it and Paul (Bourne Supremecy, Bloody Sunday) Greengrass is the director. It should be interesting....Alledgedly he is making it in "Real Time" sort of how like the show 24 does it.

The French documentary 9/11 is pretty good...there was also a made for TV movie w/ Timothy Bottoms as W that came out 3 or 4 years ago...this is probably just the first broad release.

Bring some dramamine to the theater if Greengrass is directing it. I saw the Bourne Supremacy two days after having my wisdom teeth taken out (hopped up on painkillers). I had to close my eyes through most of the action sequences. If it's real time, I'm sure his 9/11 version will be jerky as all balls.

Definitely, no politically skewed Hollywood piece of crap could have the impact that did.

That is exactly why I won't want to see this movie they are making. :cuss:

You know there will be a political slant to it.

The clip won't play for me. Can't figure out why.

Just as well. I doubt if I'll go see this. That day's burned into my brain. I don't need to pay $20 + another $25 for munchies for me and wife to relive it.

This movie, about Flight 93 was probably delayed, because there are still a lot of weird questions that people have about it.

Either of the following has to be true:

1) Those people are heroes and deserve their own National Monument for saving the Capitol Building or White House

or

2) Something else is up

We haven't done #1, so it's weird.

Go ahead and call me nutty if you want, but it doesn't add up.

My best guess is that Jet Fighters shot it down, rightfully so to protect DC, but that the government doesn't want the complicated press that comes along with that.
