Once you beat Doom 3, it unlocks all the classic Doom games. I wasted many hours of my life blasting away on that game.

Was Doom the first FPS? I'm pretty sure it was the first one I played.

Wolfenstein 3D is the oldest I can remember.

Anyone that loves Id Software (Doom, Quake, etc) should read Masters of Doom.

I loved the original Doom but was a huge Marathon fan as well. Doesn't get nearly the props that Doom or Wolf 3D do.

I remember playing the ol' Doom game. It was awesome. Duke Nukem 3D was pretty sweet too.

I remember when Wolf 3D absolutely blew my mind when I saw it. I was probably 8 at the time.

And dogs. I kinda had a problem shooting them at first, 'til they started ripping holes in my ass.

Heh. Duke. I remember that one, and a knockoff of it called "Redneck Rampage". Picking up beer, whiskey (but don't get drunk), pork rinds, and moon pies for power and health was funny. I loved the dynamite stick on a crossbow.

Do you have to have the game itself to play this? I can't figure out how to run it.

I was a Duke Nukem junkie for quite awhile. Used to play a lot of deathmatches and even got pretty good at building my own deathmatch levels. I built one based on the Pentagon that was pretty bad ass.

I'm playing Half-Life 2 now. My dad just gave me his copy a few days ago and I can't quit playing. It's a freakin' awesome game.

that program is just to port the program from windows 95 to windows XP and give you the extra tweaks .... you still need to install the real Doom game itself.

Yep ad I liked when you finally got him out of it, I got so good at playing it I beat Hitler on the toughest setting with a pistol. That was fun but took a ton of time / running.
