Many Lawson is a DE/LB. I heard is more athletic than Mario Williams and that Chiefs were looking at him. He played for N.C.State. Does any one got info on him ? What does everybody think of him that knows who he is? I think he is 6'5 270 :$2500:

Everything I've heard is that people expect him to be a 3-4 OLB.
BTW - draft forum ;)

do you think he would be any good for us

He's a prototype 3-4 OLB. Not a fit for us at all.

If they're looking at him because they think he'll fall, I don't see a problem with that. He's a 2nd rounder right now, he could slide into the 3rd.

For us he could be a good situational pass rusher early and could develop into a starting end. He has a good sized frame to gain weight if it's needed.

Great draft a OLB to play DE. I guess he is a 3-4 LB.

He weighed in at the Senior Bowl at something like 6'5 245. You would think being 6'5 he could add 15 pounds of muscle and be a good DE, but if not then as others have said he is a 3-4 OLB.

6'5 245...thats Scott Fujita height. I wonder if he can put on 15 or so pounds and be a DE.

I just checked nfldraftcountdown. They say he weighed in at 6'5 240. Dude needs to put on some weight.

He'll be an outside LB. You can't expect these kids to put on 30lbs and not lose speed and agility.

im from raleigh, my best friend finished playing his senior year at n.c. state, i am really close with the program. Manny is a freak. my buddy who had to block him on a day to day basis said that when he is motivated enough, it is almost impossible to stop him because of his speed and explosiveness. i see him as another DE in the Jason Taylor mold. i would love to have him in a chiefs uniform, the guy has a great motor and him and jared allen on third down would be scary for opposing QB's. chief118, as far as being more athletic than Mario Williams, not the case. Mario is straight out of a test tube. The guy has like a 5% body fat at 6-7 295ish, he funs about a 4.6 legit. and a cool story in case you want to know, my friend told me this summer that the strength coach gave them a challenge, that if mario could power clean 365, 5 times in 1 minute, they didnt have to run that day...........he did it 8 times. he's a freak

He's a bad-ass player. I'd be THRILLED if we landed him in the 2nd round. He's been compared to Shawne Merriman.

After the combine, I think he'll move into the 1st round. Pass-rushers with athleticism seem to be in demand come draft day. Wouldn't be surprised to see the Donks get him at #22 to replace Courtney Brown/Bert Berry/Reggie Hayward.

He apparently looked better than Kiwanuka at the Senior Bowl practices.

Kiwi, Hali, Lawson....I wouldn't mind seeing the Chiefs get any of these guys. I think they're all safer bets than any of the 1st round DT's.

Another name to add to the hat:

Kamerion Wimbley

He's a DE from Florida State. The knock on him is size - he's 6'3" about 240 according to the guys that saw him at the Senior Bowl.

The upside is that he was pretty damn dominant last season, at Florida State of all places.

Lawson looked good in the senior bowl.

I'm still not sure it's a fit, but he was impressive.
