Hey, I saw something about TO on there too....
No, never mind, Carl would never pony up the cash...
Oh, hey, I remember, I didn't want him anyway.

Last year around this time, the big rumor was that San Diego was going to trade Rivers for a 1st round pick (giving them 3) and trade one of those picks for Pat Surtain. This one seems even less likely, since how can they trade Rivers before they know how Brees recovers?

I had surgery for a torn labrum back in August, and you hurt life hell for a few months. Even now, it still gets sore for no apparent reason. Of course, I'm sure Brees has and is receiving the best medical attention money can buy.

That being said, the Chargers would be well served to hold onto Rivers next season.

I thought I read somewhere where they weren't going to trade Rivers just yet.

Also, I believe it was his throwing arm.

Why would San Diego want Abraham? In the 3-4 he would play OLB and they already have Foley and Merriman there. That trade makes no sense.

We do, maybe they will take Todd Collins? They are pretty freakin stupid, so you never know. We will even throw in Warfield for free!
