The World Series was a dud (although the White Sox did break a curse), as was the Super Bowl.

Sort of a downer in terms of excitement, especially after stuff like the 2004 ALCS and four of the last six Super Bowls.

Hopefully March Madness will pick things up a bit.

I don't think there is a game of football that could live up to people's expectations of the Superbowl.

Rams-Titans was as close as you get in my opinion.

The Rams-Titans in 1999 and Patriots-Rams in 2001 were great games. Panthers-Pats on 2003 wasn't bad, either, but I was so pissed about the Chiefs, I didn't really get into it as much.

The world series wasn't a dud. They were good games, all close.

The Super Bowls have been quite entertaining since 2000. The Giants/Ravens one sucked, but all of them after that were pretty good, except for this one.

All of them close games, except the Raiders-Bucs, which I enjoyed for a different reason.

Yes, the games were close, but they weren't exciting.

That's because ESPN lost their darlings (Yanks, Red Sox) and had no rooting interest and then got bored and didn't try and brain wash the world into thinking every game was stellar.
