My parents recently bought a Westie puppy to replace their recently deceased one. One of the first pictures of the new dog suffered from "blue eye." When I asked my mom why their dog had blue eye instead of red eye, she simply replied, "That's because he doesn't have a soul."

We have a small zoo. 4 cats - one just showed up on our doorstep as a kitten late last summer. Another is really old and won't be around much longer. 2 dogs, one is my English Pointer, a pretty decent birddog as well, then we have the Stupid (cocker) Spaniel. A 50 Gal aquarium with Cichlids. Add in a pair of finches to complete the list.

I've got a few fish. For those who know anything about fish -- I have an Oscar (bad mofala), Clown Knife Fish(also a bad ass), 2 Blood Parrots, Green Severum, 2 Jewel Cichlids. I feed them all goldfish and guppies. Every once in a while I'll feed them some crayfish(crawdads). The Oscar will eat anything, including salamanders.

We had a tank years ago and the dumbass at the pet store let us buy an Oscar with about 10 other fish. That f**ker ate every one of them.

I once knew a guy who had a Great Dane puppy. It was still a big dog, of course... but, small for a Great Dane. But, his paws were f*cking huge compared to the rest of his body. I guess the paws get to full size first.

It was the cutest thing cause even though he was big, he was still a pup and scared of everything.

I had an Oscar. He got to be about 12 inches long and about 2 inches wide. He loved goldfish. We went on vacation and I had someone take care of the animals that didn't know anything about fish. The starng person feeding him bothered the fish and he wouldn't eat. The guy kept feeding him though, the food spoiled and he was pretty sick by the time we got home. Tried changing the water and such, but he still kicked the bucket.

Those employee's should know what fish you can have in the tank with them. You should have beat his ass and stole his money. Those fish can be expensive.
I've had this one for about a year and 1/2. I had two in high school in a 75 gallon tank. When they died one measured 24in long and the other was 22in.

Yeah it's strange but Oscars wont eat from a stranger. I moved out after high school and they would only eat from my dad and I.

Looking back it was actually kind of funny. We'd come home and one of the fish would be gone. Completely gone. We'd be looking around on the floor, checking under the rocks, everywhere. Couldn't figure out where the f**k they were going to. After about 3 or 4 "disappeared" we asked at another pet store how fish could "disappear" like that. That guy asked what kinds and let us in on the secret that the Oscar was eating them. He claimed it wouldn't eat the remaining ones because they were bigger than he was. The guy was wrong. When we were down to just the oscar we flushed his a** and put the tank away.

I mean... if the money you spent on those fish is gonna be wasted anyway, might as well get some entertainment.
