Walter Camp Weekend here in NeW HaVeN. Usually a lot of big names show up. Two years ago I met Larry Fitz, Jonathan Vilma, Robert Gallery, Kellen Winslow, and Chris Perry(among others). This year was a little disappointing. I arrived at the sportsplex for the event at 4:30, a half hour after it started. Apparently I missed a few guys being there, supposedly Vince Young and Tamba Hali. Pissed me off a bit because I didn't see any big names as I walked around the place. Nick Reid was sitting at a table with Brad Banks(former Iowa QB) and Mason Crosby(Colorado Kicker). I was pretty bored and didn't have anything better to do, so I waited in line and got their sigs. I decided to walk once more around the place before leaving, and I ended up spotting Calvin Johnson, WR from Georgia Tech, at his own table. I was psyched. He's one of my favorite players. Should be a top pick when he enters the draft. Thankfully he was there or the whole day would've been pretty meaningless.

So yeah.

Nick Reid had over 100 sacks his Senior year (after posting low totals between 50-80 his first 3 years) for me in NCAA '02. Won the Heisman a couple of times, too.

Two Heisman's for a LB. I never thought that would happen.

I will settle for the low year in sack numbers for a Chiefs player, this upcoming year!

Nick Reid was never the same after I bought '03 & EA Sports fixed it... iirc, his numbers were down to about 20/season, and didn't even sniff the Heisman list.

Yeah, I was tempted to say something. A lot of people were just walking by him at the table. Poor guy. :(

Nick was a QB at Derby when my son was going to Campus he was a jerk and a bully. You should have asked him about the time two Haysville boys handed him and four of his buddies their ass.
