I know it is way early and probably kinda lame, but hey; it's my first game thread and probably the first Pro Bowl in NFL history that has the potential to actually be better then the Super Bowl was.

2006 Pro Bowl, Sunday, Feb. 12 (6 p.m. ET on ESPN)

Why, are they going to take Cowher's Lombardi trophy from him and give it away in Honolulu to whatever team plays slightly crappier defense (since thats the only kind we'll see) tomorrow?

I guess he's talking about this (http://starbulletin.com/2001/02/05/sports/story3.html) :

In the third quarter, a presumably beer-goggled spectator ran on to the field and eluded security for about two minutes. He was finally taken down by Meers, who is not slowed much by his "KC Wolf" costume.

That's true. What did I just see? I could have sworn that looked like Waters tackling Lynch from behind. It couldn't have been but it's still messing with my head. I can still see the helmet and the name on the jersey. Did I imagine him coming off the bench to tackle Lynch? Even Lynch said, "it's embarassing to be tackled by a lineman."

Anyone with TIVO? Can we play that back? I know I must have been seeing things.

I could have sworn it was Waters to. It didn't click in my head that they shouldn't be playing against each other. Maybe Waters came off the bench to make the tackle.
