The Jon Scott comparison is interesting, and a little overhyped

Don't think it's overhyping as most of the players are being compared to good, if not great, players.

I think the tight end comparisons are terrible, with the exception of maybe Byrd/Wiggins.

I think Santonio Holmes is more like Santana Moss than Sinorice is.

Darren Howard isn't a terrible comparison for Hali, but I happen to liken him to a smaller Strahan.

I don't think Kiwi is like Simeon. I think Lawson is more like Rice.

I don't see the DeAngelo/Curtis comparison at all. I think DWill is LT-like in terms of how he plays. He's much more of a home run threat than Curtis ever was.

Yeah, these are all to be taken with a grain of salt.

But if Watson were to turn out like Williams, well I'll take it.

I just have real problems with this comparison. Add Pace and Ogden, and you're talking about the 5 best OTs in the NFL!! And they are comparing 3 rookies with this level? I don't think so...

It's not saying those players will turn out like their counterparts. You basically compare characteristics and tools.

That's why I'd compare Cutler with Favre, like so many have.

The Cutler to Losman comparison was OUCH!! That might leave a mark.

Vince Young reminds me more of Steve McNair, since we are drawing comparasions. Pretty good list, though. It's definitely based on potential for all rookies, but there's some decent comparasions and some pretty big shoes to fill with some of those names.

Do you guys think Young will make it in the NFL? I believe he can make it. But if he doesn't make it then you have to compare him to Tommy Frasier.

That being said, I think Vince Young can be successful in the NFL. His feet can buy him some time. He's not the most accurate thrower, but he can make completitions on the run. That's why I compare him to McNair. He'd be a great fit in Tennessee and I can see it happening, especially if the Dolphins or some other team go after Billy Volek.

This is knd of a fun way to look at draft prospects. It's largely a load of shit, but it's a fresh approach.

I keep hearing that Young has poor mechanics, and that he always threw out of the shotgun.

If true, he'd be a project, much the same as McNair was when he was drafted.
