I didn't expect last nights game to be close, but it was.

Mizzou might get pumped enough to win this one (again)

I think kU wins by double digits...

Though I admit I have no idea what to expect from the Tigers... they've been so damn inconsistent (a great trait of Quin Snyder teams). I'd like to think Watkins will at least get them to play hard for a full 40 minutes week in, week out, but I don't expect that to happen.

This game hinges on the play of McKinney and Marshall Brown, IMO. Brown has to limit Wright's playmaking, and McKinney has to provide a second scoring option.

I've never been more embarassed by MU than I am right now; I swear to god, I think Alden has the least sense of any person I've ever known...that whole media relations department acts like it's run by adolescents.

Sorry, I'm as big a KU fan as you'll find on this board, but I'd rather beat a healthy, winning Mizzou team than pile on the train wreck that MU has become. Get well, Mizzou, so I can better appreciate the whoopin'.

Yes, it will. KU looks very good and MU doesn't really have a team.

Stillwater is always a tough place to play IMO. MU plays like shit when coming to Allen Fieldhouse. This is going to be a bloodbath and I can't wait.

I'd like to see it be close (most MU-KU games are) but it doesnt seem that way. I dont think this game can be predicted...it comes down to two things...
1.) containing gardner (who has been cold lately...)
2.) which KU team shows up (freshman or all-americans...)
sadly as an MU fan I look for us to get beat by 14 (a dominating game from start to finish that doesnt get put away til the last 2 minutes...but still overall dominance by KU)

I've only been able to see two KU games, (OU and OSU) but in those two games KU finished very strong to win.

Since that missed pair of Moody free throws, it would be difficult to find a pair of teams in the country that have gone more drastically in opposite directions.

That being said, I never know what the hell to expect out of this game. No result would really surprise me. But I think :KU: beats :mizzou: if you played this game at the fieldhouse 8/10 times.

Has anyone seen the line for this game? It hasn't been in the paper. If it is 8 or less I'd be very tempted to drop some scrilla on this one... The day of the OSU game the spread in the paper was 1, but by the time I got to the bookie it was 3 1/2, so I said **** it.

If I was KU fan, I'd be laughing and pointing at MU fan right now. All signs point to a big KU win, but we know what happens when that's the case. Bucknell, anyone? I can't get a read on this one, but just for shits&giggles I'll say MU wins a close one.

MU only wins when Gardner is hot. When he's not, MU becomes one of the worst teams in the Big12. I truly understand that a win is a win and what a hell of a game it was in Columbia earlier this season, but lets be serious here. Gardner making 40points is just unreal, and is the only reason why MU was even close in that game. At that time Gardner was hot and I understand that, but nothing compared to what he did that nite against KU. At the time Gardner was averaging 20+ points a game. Lets say he stays along that average and has around a 25 point game, which is still very very good. In this case Kansas still wins by 12 points (86-74). It was a great game non the less, but I nearly laughed when MU fans were saying of how great the TEAM played that night, and how they thought for about a week that they had a chance to make a run for the big dance in March. Let's be real here for a minute Mizzou fans. Thomas Gardner beat KU. How does this have anything to do with the game Sat? Thomas Gardner since the KU game is averaging around 15pts a game, which is respectable by any measure, but MU is also 1-6 during that span. What does that mean MU fans? MU wins when Gardner has a hot hand. He will not have another 40pt night by any means nor will he have a 25-30pt night. This is gonna be a bloodbath folks. Not to mention MU doesn't exactly play division 1 calibur bball when playing at Allen Fieldhouse. KU88-MU63
