I just heard Funky Dixieland by the Doobie Brothers. That songs reminds me of sitting in the back of my dads 280 Z and listening to KY102 back in the day.

It's one of those songs that just gets stuck in your head luckily it's one I don't mind being there.

So what are some songs that you don't mind getting stuck in your head?

Another one for me Heavy Metal Drummer by Wilco.

I ususally have song in my head that I make up about whatever I'm seeing/doing, such as:

I've got a hamburger, and I'm about to eat it
I shove it in my mouth and a pickle flops out
Oh Yeah!
Gotta get that pickle back

I'm picking out a thermos for you.
Not an ordinary thermos for you.
But the extra best thermos that you can buy, With vinyl and stripes . . .

FoB - Sugar, We're goin' down.
I hate myself so much for liking that song.

Whenever I pop in Underground, I find myself humming it all day.

On the flip side, a song I had in my head for the better part of a day, and nearly made me homicidal;

Ohh Boy you looking like you like what you see
Won't you come over check up on it, I'm gon' let you work up on it
Ladies let 'em check up on it, watch it while he check up on it
Dip it, pop it, work it, stop it, check on me tonight

I just heard Funky Dixieland by the Doobie Brothers.
I believe you're referring to the song "Black Water," which includes the line "I want to hear some funky dixieland" (which for a long time, I thought was "I want to hear some f**king dixieland," or "I want to hear some funk and dixieland").

One that I just started listening to a lot again lately, which I have no problem having stuck in my head is "(I'm Gonna Be) 500 Miles" by The Proclaimers.

:cuss: :cuss: :cuss:That reminds me of another earworm that I don't mind too much:

Devo - "Whip It"

So whip it, into shape, shape it up, get straight
Go forward, move ahead, try to detect it, it's not too late
To whip it, whip it good!

Thats what I get for trusting the titles from a P2P service.
