I think K-State will beat TTech, and could give Texas a run.

They are underrated.

But Texas has been playing better than anyone in the country (except maybe *shudder* UNC). I don't see them losing.

Ummm, if -Baylor beats Colorado, it would be an upset.

Baylor 4-12(Big 12) 4-12(overall)
Colorado 9-7 (Big 12) 19-8(overall)

TT over KSU was not really an upset. Both teams finished 6-10 in conference.

I disagree. I don't think the B12 seriously sucks. Sure, there are some young teams. And yeah, there are those teams like Baylor and Missouri. But I would hardly say the conference overall sucks.

if you got a team like memphis or gonzaga or george washington with a number 1 seed, then yes, a 16 seed will most likely beat one of those, because they play in a crappy league with next to no competition, so they wont be used to clutch play...

wow, 5th out of the 6 major conferences. that's outstanding :thumb:

truly a power conference at it's best. [/sarcasm]

this conference is young, but it has fallen so far from sending 2 teams to the Final Four every year.

it doesn't have a legit title contender outside Texas, and only 3 sweet 16 teams (Kansas, Oklahoma)

If the Pac-10 wasn't a gwad-awful excuse for a major basketball conference, there would be no doubt that the Big12 was the worst of the big 6.

hell, the Missouri Valley could be better than the Big 12 (especially since you love throwing that RPI around)

Congratulate him? :harumph:

As I've said in other threads, the number of teams that you can fill down to the Final Four no matter who they play, and this year we might as well have 6 #2s, because UCONN & Villanova are the only real #1s, and UCONN lost to a bad Syracuse team today.

The worst #1 will play the best #16, and I think Memphis, Gonzaga, and GW are all capable of losing their first game.

I was really relieved last night. Watching MU last night make the comeback, I told Dad I was concerned that they would get hot and run the tourney, make a 64 bid and Watkins would be hired as the HC. What a relief that he choked and led the team to our very first first round loss in since the Big 12's inception.

I'd rather have Quin back than have Watkins at the helm.

You're just as crazy as you are ignorant. I said I wondered how many games the MVC expected to win scoring in the 40's like they do. Since reading is difficult for you, this game was played in the 60's. I keep seeing how good the MVC is at defense. Well you might want to see who leads the nation in scoring % defense. Yeah, KU. And KU hasn't played anyone who scored in the 40's that I know of. You guys defense is only good against each other. You won't get any other tourney team to play your 40's game. You're just as fat and stupid as ever.

I think they have them for all sports. Heck, I was a c*nt hair away from being an academic all-American in high school in a sport that is often referred to as a "non-revenue" or "Olympic" sport.

What's more impressive is that Kaun is a starter. Usually walk-ons and other various bench players make that team. For example, KU got 3 others on the team (of 20). They are: Jeremy Case, Christian Moody, and Stephen Vinson.
